KUPA MANIPro Passport Companion Nail Drill

This kit pairs the Passport control box in Phantom, Red or White with the Companion handpiece and includes the desktop cradle. Our KUPA MANIPro Passport Nail Drill comes in other colors with a choice of KP-60, KP-65 or Companion handpiece, with the cradle sold separately. Both use the same cordless 30,000 RPM Passport control box. The Passport NEXT adds an LED RPM display.

All three run up to 30,000 RPM and take standard 3/32" bits. The Companion is the longest at 4.75" and weighs 5 oz, with a 1-year warranty. The KP-60 is the lightest at 4.23 oz (1-year warranty). The KP-65 weighs 5.36 oz and has a 2-year warranty. The Passport control box also runs KP-36, KP-50 and KP-55 handpieces. Spares are in KUPA handpieces.

The Passport control box has no RPM or battery readout. You set speed with the variable dial, which goes up to 30,000 RPM, plus a forward/reverse button and an illuminated power indicator. KUPA does not publish a dial-to-RPM chart on its product pages. If you want a digital RPM reading and a battery indicator, see the KUPA MANIPro Passport NEXT.

KUPA rates the Passport for 8–10 hours of use per charge, with a full charge in about 2 hours. The control box switches automatically between 110 V and 220 V. Use only KUPA's approved Passport charger (item PP-1123), a power cord from the control box to the wall; KUPA says not to use any other charger. We stock it as the KUPA MANIPro Charger Adaptor.

KUPA covers the Passport control box and the Companion handpiece for 1 year parts and labor each; register your serial number on KUPA's site. For repairs, KUPA offers flat-rate service: $49.95 for the control box (send the wall charger with it) or $74.95 for a handpiece, including return shipping in the US and a 90-day warranty on the repair.
