KUPA MANIPro Passport Nail Drill

The Passport has no RPM or battery readout. You set speed with the variable dial, which runs up to 30,000 RPM, plus forward/reverse and an illuminated power indicator. Use only KUPA's approved Passport charger (item PP-1123), a power cord from the control box to the wall. KUPA says not to use any other charger. A full charge takes about 2 hours. If it still won't turn on after charging on that charger, KUPA's flat-rate Control Box Service tests the control box and the wall charger together. We stock the charger as the KUPA MANIPro Charger Adaptor.

All three kit options run up to 30,000 RPM and take standard 3/32" bits. The KP-60 is lightest at 4.23 oz and 4.25" long (1-year warranty). The KP-65 weighs 5.36 oz and has a 2-year warranty. The Companion is longest at 4.75" and weighs 5 oz (1-year warranty). Your KP-55 works too: KUPA lists KP-36, KP-50, KP-55, KP-60, KP-65, Companion and Icon as compatible. Spares are in KUPA handpieces.

KUPA rates the Passport for 8–10 hours of use per charge, with a full charge in about 2 hours. The control box switches automatically between 110 V and 220 V. KUPA does not sell a replacement battery as a part. If the battery stops holding a charge, send the control box (and wall charger) to KUPA's flat-rate Control Box Service.

KUPA covers the control box for 1 year parts and labor. Handpieces: KP-60 and Companion 1 year, KP-65 2 years. Register the serial number and purchase date on KUPA's site; optional 1–3 year extended plans are offered there. Flat-rate service is $49.95 for the control box or $74.95 for a handpiece, including US return shipping and a 90-day repair warranty; send the wall charger with the control box. Repairs go through KUPA in Anaheim or an authorized repair center.

No. The kit does not include a cradle, even though some photos show the control box and handpiece on one. The kit comes with the control box, your choice of handpiece, the charging system, a belt clip, a handpiece holster and the instruction manual. If you want the stand, get the KUPA MANIPro Passport Cradle separately.
